Beau would do best with: 

• an owner who can commit to occasional exercises and stretches. He needs assistance at times with standing on all fours and will never walk perfectly. Dr. Drygas said his prognosis is unknown.

• an owner who can be home with him at least every four hours for bathroom breaks; he does not let you know he needs to use the restroom but with regular breaks tends to not have accidents; he poops on a schedule usually every 12 or 24 hours: on probiotics to help with soft stools 

• a home with other submissive dogs; he loves to follow his foster brother and sister and do whatever they're doing.

• an owner who can maintain his medication regimen so that he is comfortable (gabapentin, apoquel, Pepcid, probiotics, muscle relaxer as needed)
