Rosie is a sweet and playful 3-4 year old French Bulldog with all the charm and personality the breed is known for. She's curious, loves to investigate everything around her, and makes the most adorable chortling sounds while she sniffs and explores. She enjoys big stuffed toys, balls, sunbathing, and chewing on bones that are almost as big as she is. If you're looking for a devoted companion, Rosie is your girl. She always wants to know where her people are and prefers to keep them within sight. Belly rubs, snuggles, and lap time are her absolute favorite things, and she'll happily reward you with her signature chortling noises while soaking up the attention. Rosie does best as the center of attention. She can be possessive of her humans and may become reactive toward other dogs if she feels they're competing for affection. For that reason, her ideal home would be one where she is the only dog. She seems fine with cats, although the cats in her foster home generally prefer to keep their distance. Rosie is wonderful with children and babies. She is patient, gentle, and loves all the extra attention they provide. Rosie is in excellent health. She has no breathing or brachycephalic issues, which are common concerns in French Bulldogs. She was recently spayed and recovered beautifully. She is fully up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention. Her coat is healthy and shiny, and she has a strong food drive, making her eager to learn and easy to train. She is kennel trained and comfortably sleeps and eats in her crate. Potty training has required some extra work, but she has made tremendous progress. Rosie does best when she is taken outside every few hours. Early on, she appeared to do some territorial marking, but that behavior gradually decreased over a couple of months and is now rare. She is still learning how to signal when she needs to go outside and may occasionally have an accident if left inside for several hours. Most accidents happen near a door, which suggests she is trying to communicate that she needs to go out. A home with a doggie door or someone who can provide regular potty breaks would be a tremendous help as she continues to improve. Rosie is crated at night and whenever her family is away, and she has never had an accident in her crate. Rosie will make a wonderful addition to the right forever family. Her loving, playful, loyal nature is truly special. With her desire to please and her strong food motivation, she has all the ingredients to continue thriving with training and consistency. She is a happy, healthy little girl who deserves a home where she will receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship. Give Rosie the time and affection she deserves, and she will repay you many times over with unconditional love, loyalty, and endless snuggles.
Vinny is a sweet and goofy guy! He gets along with all the resident dogs and cats, and likes visitors of all shapes, sizes and ages. He still lacks some basic manners, but is redirect-able. He is very high energy and needs to be kept engaged to keep him from being destructive. Although he sometimes will hump, yodel and run wild like a total maniac, he does enjoy belly rubs and snuggles about as much as any other good dog would. He has some early-stage looking IVDD/hips/knees that a healthy diet and maybe some supplements would fix right up. He is otherwise healthy, happy and ready to find his forever family. He would do best with an experienced dog owner who will help manage his medical needs and compulsive tendencies. Obedience training should absolutely be in his future with his new family to help bond and ensure a successful rehoming. Overall this high-octane, singing silly little fella is a good boy who is ready to find his just right and furever family!
Meet Albert, an approx. 5-year-old neutered male Frenchie!
Albert is a very handsome pied French bulldog with brindle ears, a polka dot on the middle of his forehead and another large polka dot over his butt and tail nub. He is a super snuggle bug that loves other dogs and cats too! House trained and crate trained - he is such a smart boy! Albert loves his crate and knows that it is his “house”. Albert’s favorite place is chilling on the sofa with his head in his person’s lap ( a perfect Netflix/binge watching buddy) or snoozing on the bed. He will get the zoomies with the other resident Frenchies but is very respectful of the resident cat. Albert has the cutest little “pickle” teeth and a little tail nub that he wags when happy! He can be a talker with the famous ( infamous) Frenchie yodel!
Just like many other geniuses (think Einstein) he does have some quirks – Albert has pica where he will eat non- food items (think magazines, newspapers , stuffed toys and small toys, TV remotes, etc.) .Since he can also be a bit of a land shark if something drops to the floor ( regardless if fingers are in the way), Albert’s forever family/people should be a home without children - teenagers may be ok if they can commit to not leaving items on the floor or on low tables as Albert will table surf or stand on his tippy toes to get what he perceives to be delectable snacks! Bathroom pails should be high enough so that Albert cannot reach in. The ideal home is one where people either work from home or are retired as Albert must be crated for his own safety when left alone – the good news is Albert does love his crate as that is where he is fed and he will run to it and stand in it to wait for his breakfast or dinner. Albert is learning the “Leave It” command while on walks which is then positively re-enforced/ rewarded with a small treat (piece of kibble). No dog stuffed toys (even the super chewer/tough ones) as Albert will tear them apart and then eat the pieces - he does love a good nylabone ( the dinosaurs are his favorite) which he will carry around and play “keep away” with the other resident Frenchies in his current foster home.
Merlin gets along with everyone - big and small. He is a very sweet boy who loves to snuggle, chew on Nylabones and cuddle with other dogs.
Gunnar is the cutest little sassy-pants pirate around. He is tiny but fierce, with an outgoing and social personality. He is missing an eye but it doesn't limit him. Gunnar also gets along well with other dogs.
Lulabelle is a funny and sassy little love bug who was in need of a forever home that wouldn't mind her minor issues. She's had a bit of a rough start to life but that hasn't stopped her from being the wonderful pup she is. She is going to make her new family extremely happy!
Remy is a 3 year old neutered male. He is a happy dog that gets along with other dogs and is up-to-date with shots. Remy was surrendered due to congenital spinal malformations, causing weakness in his legs, wobbly walk and incontinence. Recommendations include avoiding high impact activities.
Trevor is a 6 year old sweet boy who also has IVDD. He walks and gets around but sometimes drips so he wears a belly band. He is a good boy: gets along well with other dogs and kids and he deserves a nice forever home!
